Pianist Yefim Bronfman Joins Cleveland Orchestra for Beethoven Concerto

This week, Israeli-American pianist Yefim Bronfman joins the Cleveland Orchestra and conductor Nikolaj Znaider on Thursday and Saturday for Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, popularly known as “Emperor.” His final concert, it had its first public performance in 1811 and has remained a popular piece in the repertoire ever since. They’ll also perform Sir Edward Elgar’s 1911 Symphony No 2.

On Friday morning, the Orchestra will perform only the Elgar Symphony at its morning concert.

Tickets are $21-$165.
