Gordon Square Arts District will be location of an early evening of art-related fun to kick off the weekend.
Taking place on the Near West Plaza in front of the Near West Theatre, visitors can enjoy a performance by the members of Maelstrom Collaborative Arts (formerly Thatr Ninjas), who are headquartered in the neighborhood, plus cocktails by Jodi Rae Santosuosso, and snacks by Toast. Haley Morris of Himiko Gogo’s Memorabilia will be there with interesting things for sale, such as her laser-cut, hand-painted earrings.
