Talespinner Children’s Theatre Hosts Low-Dough Family-Friendly “Sundae Sunday” Benefit

Sun 5/6 @ 2-5PM

Talespinner Children’s Theatre’s colorful, interactive multi-disciplinary productions based on myths and legends from around the world have delighted children AND adults for the past six years.

Like all nonprofit arts groups, it has its fundraisers of various kinds, and the next one is a low-dollar fundraiser that’s easily affordable — and fun — for families.

The centerpiece of “Sundae Sunday” is ice cream — quality homemade ice cream from Sweet Moses ice cream parlor just up the street from the theater in Gordon Square, complete with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles, if you like.

But that’s not all. There will be face painting, theatre games and the chance to get a close-up look at the masks, costumes and puppets that make TCT productions so special while making your own mask or puppet to take home in the crafts area.

Tickets are $10 for kids 12 and under, $12 for students with ID and seniors, and $15 for adults.
