They say that a region is only as strong as its urban core. In Cleveland, that has seemed to be an outsize focus on downtown development, which has seen an explosion of residential growth both downtown and across the bridge on the near west side.
New ideas are being introduced to spur this growth even more: the Downtown Cleveland Retail Strategic Plan analyzes the area’s current retail landscape and looks at ways to attract more.
Downtown Cleveland president/CEO Michael Deemer, board chair of the International Downtown Association (and new leader of University Circle Inc) Kate Borders, and managing director of Streetsense Public Non-Profit Solutions Larisa Ortiz will talk at the City Club abut what downtown should become and how to accomplish that.
The forum will also be livestreamed starting at noon. Text questions to 330-541-5794.
