Pianist Shuai Wang Takes Center Stage at Free Concert in Tremont

Sun 2/19 @ 4PM

Born in China, pianist Shuai Wang attended the world-famous Interlochen Arts Academy high school in Michigan from the age of 14, before earning degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she’s now on the faculty. As a freelance musician she’s performed in a variety of venues and with numerous ensembles, including Classical Revolution Cleveland, and founded and serves as artistic director of the Ars Futura new music ensemble.

She’ll be featured at Arts Renaissance Tremont’s next concert, where she’ll be joined by Cavani String Quarter violinist Annie Fullard, and a couple of “baby” musicians in their early 20s, both students at the Jiulliard School in New York: violist Samuel Rosenthal, a Cleveland native, and cellist Nagyeom Jang who hails from Souh Korea.

The concert takes place at St. Wendelin Church. It’s free and open to all.
