Downtown Kent will be hopping with activity this Saturday, June 4, as Main Street Kent hosts its Art & Wine Festival, welcoming large crowds back to the city for a day of art and music, wine, beer and food.

North Water Street from Main Street to Portage Street will be closed to help accommodate more than 50 local artists, with 7 live music performances on the Homtown Bank Plaza and Brewhouse Pub Patio. Thirteen Ohio wineries and six local food vendors will also be taking part & of course, downtown restaurants will be offering  still more food options.

Tickets are available at the event for $20, which includes a special wine glass and ten wine-tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets are $1 each. It’s cash only; there are two ATMs. No pets are allowed.
