Cleveland native Johnny Wu is well known in the city’s ethnic community as a co-founder of the Cleveland Asian Festival and the producer of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens One World Day. But he’s also one of the city’s most dedicated and accomplished filmmakers. While developing a branding business and founding the Cleveland IndieClub to give visual artists a place to share idea, he’s also produced and directed numerous full-length films, primarily focused on the action/adventure genre,
His latest film is another in that genre as the title Bullets, Brothers and Blood makes clear. It “tells the story of an ex-army ranger who searches for his brother in a lawless town controlled by a brutal crime boss. When one by one a serial killer takes out the crime boss’s soldiers he is mistaken for the killer and must fight off attack after attack to find his brother and get out alive.”
A VIP premiere of the film will take place at Atlas Cinemas Lakeshore in Euclid on Saturday, March 2.
