Sat 11/25 @ 7:30-10:30PM
A few years ago, Jeri Sapronetti was known as the dynamic/ vocalist/guitarist/ frontperson for Akron band Time Cat.
Since then, she’s expanded her creativity to encompass visuals, costumes and video as part of a residency at Akron Soul Train during which she completed two albums with music video to enhance the music. She’ll showcase the results in The Big Pop Picture Show, taking place at Highland Square Universal Gatheringplace, 133 Merriman Road, Akron.
The event will include the premiere of a seven-part music video with a live score by Big Pop. And there’ll be a post-show Q& A if you want to learn more abut the creative process. “This immersive experience will allow fans to delve deeper into Jeri’s musical journey and gain insights into her creative process,” the press release informs us.
The event is “pay what you can” with any money raised going to Akron Soul Train for future programming. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Get tickets here.
