The Lottery League’s Big Show Is Here – and It’s Really Big!

Sat 6/8 @ noon-midnight

This year, the Cleveland Lottery League, which debuted in 2007, returned for the first time since 2019 after five successful iterations. Once again a large and diverse pool of musician participants was assembled, and a draft was held to place them in ad hoc bands with people they’d never played with before. They were then given a couple of months to put together a ten-minute set t play for the Big Show MMXXIV, which takes places this Saturday.

Forty-three of these temporary bands will perform the marathon concert from noon to midnight, taking place at the Ingenuity Labs in the Hamilton Collaborative. Actually, the School of Rock West will kick things off with a special performance and then the Lottery League bands will hit the stage.

Doors open at 11:30am. There’ll be food, drinks and displays from sponsoring businesses. The biggest questions are “How many will survive the entire thing and hear all the bands?” and “Which bands will outlive Lottery League and go on to be REAL bands?” There are always a couple!

It’s free and open to all. No tickets or reservations are needed. Just stop down and see how many bands you can take.
