Fri 8/25 @ 8PM
Trombonist Chas Baker is an original member of the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, founded in 1985, as well as a (now retired) associate professor of jazz studies at Kent State University and the director of the KSU Jazz Ensemble.
He’s also a prolific composer of jazz music. And for its first recording in five years, CJO will be performing works by Baker at the BOP STOP for a live recording. You can join them for this landmark occasion and pay tribute to this living legend by getting your tickets here. The concert will not be livestreamed. If you miss it you’ll have to wait for the recording!
