The music theatre program at Baldwin Wallace University is known as one of the top such programs in the country, sending almost all its graduates on to careers onstage, in films and on television. And each year, the senior class puts together an original, choreographed showcase program which they take to New York during spring term to perform for agents, bookers, promoters, producers, casting directors and others in the business who are scouting out young talent.
And for years, before they go to New York, they present the program here in northeast Ohio to get in the groove and work out any kinks. They’ll be doing so this week, once again at the Beaumont School Theatre in Cleveland Heights.
