Rock Hall Offers Online Programs & Shopping During Closure

You won’t be able to jam on the instruments that are part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s Play It Loud exhibit for a while. But you can take a curated virtual tour of that exhibit and the Women Who Rock exhibit, along with a “Staff Picks” tour, by going to rockhall.com/your-tour.

It’s one of many of the Rock Hall’s online offerings to feed rock fans’ hunger for music during their quarantine. First and foremost is the Induction Ceremony vault, which is being opened to reveal uncut speeches and performance footage from 34 years of induction ceremonies, archival images and previously unreleased programs from the induction ceremonies, featuring essays written by top music journalists and educators. This should help get fans who were looking forward to the May 2 inductions through to the reschedule November 7 date.

There’s also the Rock Hall Spotify channel, lessons and activities for kids, inductee interviews from the Garage exhibit and even the ability to shop in the Rock Hall’s store. The store has a new section called “Rock Your Home” featuring stuff to help you ride out your stay at home, including office decor and desk accessories, barware and kitchen items and comfortable clothing for wearing around the house. All orders are 10% off, with no minimum purchase; no code is necessary.
