78th Street Studios Holds Another Scaled-Down Third Friday

Fri 8/21 @ 5-8PM

Once again, 78th Street Studios’ Third Friday returns with its scaled-down version that heavily limits the size of the crowd, making it more of an event for serious art lovers and, for the time being, less of the social event it’s always been. Only 300 people will be allowed with staggered entrance times making the building even less congested. The event will host a maximum of 300 attendees, and entrance will be staggered. Visitors must wear masks and for those that don’t have one, there’s a custom line of PPE products by resident designer Valerie Mayen available for purchase at the door.

For those that go, more of the galleries, artist studios and businesses are open again, with more than two dozen throughout the building. Live music is back too with Brazilian guitarist Moises Borges, accompanied by Dave Kasper.

Admission is $5 with half going to the participating artists. Make a reservation here. For those that can’t or won’t go out yet, you can tune into 78th Street’s Facebook Live from 7-8pm for pre-recorded and live clips featuring some of the business owners and artists at 78th Street.
