Fri 10/15 @ 5-9PM

78th Street Studios’ Third Fridays usually get busier in the fall and this fall is no exception: for all practical purposes things are back to normal, although they’re continuing the $5 admission and requiring masks of all visitors.

This month you’ll find two groups presenting maker/artisan bazaars. Northcoast Promotions will be at its usual place in the smARTspace featuring a dozen vendors with more on the Ramo Level, they where they’ll be sharing space with Susie Frazier’s MakerTown vendors and you’ll find everything from honey to headbands, baked goods to jewelry to cigars.

On the Ramp level, ARTneo will debut a new show called Drawn to Clay, featuring four ceramics artists. On the first floor, E11even2 opens its Spooky Boobs Halloween-themed show where Current Cleveland in room 101 has the first solo show of work by talented Cleveland photographer Aja Joi Grant called Community Reverence. On the second floor, be sure to check out the Mark Howard show, Shapeshifters, at HEDGE Gallery and Scott McIntire: From Quixotic to Bittersweet at the Kenneth Paul Lesko Gallery.

Gordon Square sandwich shop Local West will be back with noshes, and BARneo will be offering win and beer to benefit nonprofit northeast Ohio art museum ARTneo. And there’ll be some familiar faces providing music: guitarist Vic Samalot playing, jazz, rock, Latin and Fusion while looping his guitar live, and Carrie King playing French café tunes on the accordion.

Because Third Fridays are attracting larger and larger crowd and they’re trying to control capacity in the building, it’s a good idea to buy your ticket ahead of time.
