If you are a strong supporter of labor unions — and you should be — you might want to stop out at James Day Park this Parma this Saturday, when various Cleveland unions join together to throw their annual picnic. There’ll be booths with information about the various unions and political groups, a stage with rock bands, a kids’ tent (you can probably count on face painting), and food and drink available for purchase. Watch union teams square off in softball and prepare to have your hand shaken by one of the many local politicians and candidates who show up. You want to know who’s running for judge? This is a good pace to find out. It’s free.
