While North Union Farmers Markets’ two flagship markets at Shaker Square and Crocker Park run year-round, going indoors from January-March, it also hosts five summer-only markets, which open this week. All feature local vendors offering a variety of high-quality produce, meats, dairy, baked goods and more, with an increasing variety of offerings as the summer goes on.
The Cleveland Clinic Farmers Market starts Wednesday May 31 @ 10:30am-1:30pm and runs through October 18. University Hospitals Farmers Market starts Thursday June 1 @ 10:30am-1:30pm and runs through September 28. The first Chagrin Falls Farmers Market is Sunday June 4 @ 9am-noon, and will be taking place through October 22.
Two more markets open next week: The Van Aken District Farmers Market on Thursday June 8 @ 4-7pm, through September 14, and the Legacy Village Farmers Market Sunday June 11 @ 10am-1pm, through September 24.
All locations accept Ohio Direction SNAP and match it up to $25.
