Soon northeast Ohio will be buzzing with activity again, but January is always sleepy. But it’s a good time to hit some of the small clubs that tend to have more local music this time of the year.
If you’re not in the mood for having your eardrums blow out and you’d like to take in some original songwriting, try stopping at the Beachland Tavern for the Voices of the Land acoustic showcase, featuring four talented area women.
Taylor Lamborn is pretty well known as a singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer, having performed at many major area festivals; Lauren Lanzaretta has also performed high-profile shows and released quite a bit of her own material. Esther Fitz has been around the music scene a while although she isn’t quite as well known as the other two, while Andi Chakraborti is a recent Case engineering grad who’s also musically inclined.
But wait — that’s not all. The four headliners will be augmented with a special guest set by two more young women —Jordan Laird & Jordan Urban.
