Made Cleveland on Coventry Hosts Clothing Swap

Sun 11/20 @ noon-5PM

Made Cleveland, an expansive shop devoted to art, crafts and other items made by local artisans and artists, has re-activated the large space in Coventry Village vacated last summer by the long-running import shop City Buddha.

Not only does it provide one-stop, seven-days-a-week shopping for those who like to spend their money locally with local vendors without having to wait for the next Maker Market, it also hosts regular events such as Monday night jam nights, music performances, art shows, tastings and classes.

This weekend it’s hosting its first Clothing Swap. If you’re unfamiliar with these events, they are a way for people to recycle things in their closet that are still in good shape but maybe they’re tired of and pick up something new without adding to the waste stream by BUYING something new. Bring clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories that are in good shape and clean and pick out some new things. All sizes and genders are welcome. And any leftover clothes will be donated to Dress for Success Cleveland; what they can’t use will go to a local thrift shop.

There’s no charge to participate.
