Akron Symphony Benefit Features Online Program & SiIent Auction

Thu 4/29 @ 7PM

Like most cultural organizations and nonprofits, the Akron Symphony Orchestra is foregoing the usual get-dressed-up-and-mingle annual benefit in favor of a virtual event (Hang on, people — we will get back to socializing eventually!)

The highlight of its 2021 Interlude Gala is a free, live-streamed event on Thursday April 29, featuring president of Synthomer Foundation Theresa Carter as emcee. She’ll host a program featuring a bunch of musical performances and special guests.  Donate $100 and get a VIP package featuring a bottle of wine, two special wine glasses and some treats to eat while you watch.

But that’s not all. Through May 7, the orchestra is running its online auction, featuring prizes such as a catered party with live music from Jilly’s Music Room, an in-home performance by ASO concertmaster Tallie Brunfeldt, and a year f music lessons from Trillium Schools of Music.
