Fri 10/8 @ 5-8PM
Six students who were part of the Cleveland Foundation Arts Mastery Program as part of the Cleveland Print Room’s 2020 Project spent 2019 and 2020 photographing the community and its residents under the direction of CPR educators Bridget Caswell and Jef Janis.
Caswell and Janis helped the students learn the technical and social skills to do their work, and they also helped guide them through the curatorial process to put together an exhibition of their work.
That show, titled Pause: A View of the City from the 2020 Project, opens this Friday October 8 at the Cleveland Print Room’s gallery. From 5-8pm visitors will have a chance to not only see the work produced by Enahjae Beasley, Destanee Cruz, Maria Fallon, Félix Látimer, Gabby Murray and Moss Rodemann but also to meet the artists. The reception is free and open to all.
