The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory is holding their annual fall party, a casual, low-cost affair that involves hands-on creating.
Come dressed to make a mess and join in one of the informal workshops and papermaking, marbling, printmaking, bookbinding and indigo dyeing. Perhaps you’ll get so hooked you’ll sign up for one of their in-depth workshops or classes. And you can take home the things you make.
DJ Marcus Alan will be providing a sonic backdrop for this creative activity with his eclectic musical tastes. And artist/apprentices Hong Hong and Claudio Orso-Giacone will be doing demostrations throughout the evening. There’ll also be a cash bar and the Burning River Bistro food truck offering steamed bagel sandwiches.
Tickets are just $15 in advance, $25 at the door; no advance purchase or reservation is necessary (although you can buy them here). Just drop by!
