When the Akron Civic Theatre’s Knight Stage presents an evening called “Thursdays Are a Drag!” (exclaimation mark included), they’re describing the program literally — and inaccurately.
It certainly won’t be boring but it will be packed with drag — as in drag artists, performing their colorful, exciting, outrageous, over-the-top acts. Performers include three northeast Ohio drag queens: Kardi Redd Diamond (pictured), Jade Uzu Maki and Natasshja Norielle.
The evening starts with a Happy Hour. Light appetizers and one drink are included in the ticket price. Tickets are $35; get them here.
