Cleveland History Center’s History on Tap Looks at Black Music in Cleveland

Thu 2/15 @ 5-8PM

This month the Cleveland History Center’s recurring History on Tap evening celebrates Black culture through music.

It will feature interactive activities and discussions about Cleveland’s Black music history and how it’s thrived across decades, a rich history that includes landmarks institutions such as Leo’s Casino, Boddie Recording and WZAK-FM, noted radio personalities such as Lynn Tolliver, and musicians such as the O’Jays, Levert and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

A DJ will spin some of that music to activate the dance floor. In addition, guests will have access to all the museum’s exhibits, as well as carousel rides, and there’ll be food and drink available for purchase. Go here for tickets.
