Ramp Up Peninsula Festival Becomes Four Weeks of Ramp Grab-n-Go

Sat 4/17, Sat 4/24, Sat 5/1 & Sat 5/8 @ 11AM-4PM

This is the time of year when the ramps, a wild onion relative, make their brief appearance at farmers markets, and it’s the time when Peninsula’s Ramp Up Peninsula festival happens. It’s not quite safe yet for a packed festival, but the folks in Peninsula aren’t going to let ramp season pass by unnoticed.

Instead, on four successful Saturdays from 11am to 4pm, they’ll be holding RAMP GRAB-N-GO in the parking lot of the former Yellow Creek Trading Company in downtown Peninsula where folks can pick up some freshly harvested ramps and other goodies made with ramps including breads, soup, sausages, ramp mustards, relishes, salts and powders, and Akron pickles. A slightly different mix of food vendors will be there each week, including different leek harvesters.

Get more info on who will be there with what here.
