Fri 1/6 @ 5-9PM
So it might be cold Friday — but not super cold. And there might be some snow — but not a lot. So why not get out of the house and take a stroll through the Waterloo Arts District in North Collinwood for its monthly Walk All Over Waterloo.
There aren’t a lot of openings this month, but there’s still some interesting stuff to see and do. It stats with the annual DayGloSho at Waterloo Arts, which opens Sunday January 1 and runs through the end of the month. The Cleveland-based DayGlo company donated the paint from which 25 artists created pieces, shown in a black-light lit gallery.
Across the street in the gold building, Kink Contemporary will be opening Desire Paths, featuring photos, drawing and paintings by Avery Mags Duff of work inspired by the natural world, looking for hidden or alternative trails in the world.
Also in the gold building upstairs at the Maria Neil Art Project, you have a final opportunity to see painting and sculpture by Ron Rollenhagen.
Also open during the walk (from 4-8pm) will be Neat Cleveland, a new shop in the district selling furniture and other décor for your home, including art. It’s just around the corner from the gold building, on East 156th.
