The FJKluth Art Gallery in Kent is soliciting submissions from LGBTQ+ artists or art reflectin LGBTQ+ themes for an exhibition called Pride in Kent, running September 24-October 22. It will be open during Mainstreet Kent’s Rainbow Weekend, October 7-8.
Artists are invited to submit up to three original drawings, paintings, sketches, photography, sculpture or two- or three- dimensional mixed-media work. It’s free to submit work; artists can find complete submission requirements here. Deadline is Wednesday September 6 @ 11:59pm and artists will be notified what work is accepted by September 9.
The show’s opening reception is Saturday September 24 @ 7pm. It’s free and open to the public.
