They May Not Be Able to Pick It Up But Toddlers Can Learn About the “Tremendous Tuba” @ Severance Hall

Fri 5/3 @ 10AM

Sat 5/4 @ 11AM

The tuba is an impressive instrument — large and shiny, with lots of intricate tubing and a loud, deep sound.

This week, the Cleveland Orchestra’s Music Explorers program at Severance Hall will introduce toddlers to the “tremendous tuba,” even though it will be years before they’ll even to be able to pick one up. However, they’ll get to see a professional musician demonstrate what it can do, and they’ll get to join in on short, kid-friendly tunes, clapping, singing and jumping around. The programs are geared for kids 3-6.

Tickets are $7.
