Two Veteran Local Rockers Play Songwriter Showcase at Cain Park

Tue 9/19 @ 7PM

The last concert in Cain Park’s Fall Songwriter Series, showcasing local talent, presents two musicians who built their reputations playing with high-profile ensembles.

Marc Lee Shannon was a member of Michael Stanley’s band the Resonators for 25 years, until Stanley’s final show before he dies, and played on 23 albums. He’s also recorded and release three albums of his own material, including the latest, Lucky 7, in 2021, celebrating his seven years of sobriety, a cause to which he’s devoted much time and energy.

Bill March played with original Michael Stanley Band member Jonah Koslen in his band the Heroes, and then went on to co-found ’80s Cleveland rock band Beau Coup who had multiple regional hit records.

The show takes place in the Alma Theater. It’s free.
