Frank Amato’s All-Stars Play at Music Box for Autism Society

Fri 12/23 @ 8PM

Postponed to 2/1/23 due to weather

Frank Amato, who was the lead singer in popular Cleveland band Beau Coup back in the 80s (as well as several other local bands) has been doing his holiday benefit with Frank Amato’s Cleveland All Stars for years now, enabling him to gather together some of his old friends — a veritable who’s who of Cleveland rock & roll in the 70s and 80s — for a one-night reunion as well as raise money for the Autism Society of Great Cleveland.

For one thing, it’s a reunion of most of Beau Coup, including singer/keyboard player/songwriter Dennis Lewin, both its drummers Don Krueger and Jimmy Clark, bassist Bill March and guitarist Billy Sullivan. He’s also bringing on board American Noise keyboard player George Sipl and drummer Tommy Rich; Wild Horses guitarist Steve Jochum, Rich Spina of Love Affair, northeast Ohio-based instrumental guitar virtuoso Neil Zaza, Jennifer Lee and Paul Christensen of Michael Stanley’s Resonators, vocalists Theresa Rose and Debbie Lewin, drummer Tommy Amato, Weasel Strychnine, and others from contemporary tribute bands including Joey DePasquale, Adam Marra, Michael Tyler, and Gary “G-Rock” Stulak.

Chances are you’ll hear some great classic rock tunes, as well as the biggest hits of some of those legendary Cleveland ensembles these musicians played with. If you hung out in local clubs back in the day, you’ll want to be there and run into old friends.

Doors are at 6pm for dinner; show starts at 8.
