Downtown Berea Comes Alive with the Berea Arts Fest

Sun 9/12 @ 10AM-5PM

Once again, downtown Berea will be bustling with artists, musicians and activities as it celebrates its 31st Berea Arts Fest, once again, in person.

There’ll be more than a hundred artists and craftspeople with their work for sale, art demonstrations and an art raffle. It also features a special exhibits area, with work by artists with disabilities, student art and work by adult education students from the Berea School District and the Berea Historical Society. A Kids’ Kreation area will give children hands-on projects to work on, once they’re finished getting face painted, and all ages can contribute to the Chalk Walk.

Musicians will be performing around Coe Lake, including teen jazz singer Ava Preston (10-11am), noisy indie rockers Duo Decibel System (11:30am-12:30pm), the eclectic Oregon Space Trail of Jazz (1-2pm), the jam-flavored JiMiller Band (2:30-3:30pm) and psychedelic/funk/Afro-Cuban band Fatback Mango (4-5pm).

There’ll be plenty of food and drink available. Admission to the fest is free.
