This Friday, ARTneo (formerly the Cleveland Artists Foundation) invites art professionals, collectors and enthusiasts to celebrate the organization’s 30th Anniversary at 78th Street Studios. As the name change alludes, this important organization is in the middle of an exciting transition.
“We are very excited to be celebrating our 30th anniversary,” says ARTneo Vice President Jon Logan. “It’s a special time for our organization as we move from the Beck Center to our new home at 78th Street Studios…”

Teachers got a first glimpse of the new Max S. Hayes high school last week as they toured the construction site. The schools new location, on W 65th St. & Clark Ave. will provide a state-of-the-art advancement over the last school, which was built in 1957.
The two-story, 170,000-square-foot building will have space for 800 students and will include such features as overhead doors for access to shops, glass-enclosed locations that show off mechanical systems and outdoor spaces where students can work freely on projects. With construction about 65% percent complete, the school should be ready for the 2015-2016 school year.
This Saturday is Bat Night at Lake View Cemetery. Bring the fam & some hiking boots & be on the hunt for bats. Cleveland Metroparks Tim Krynak will catch a few & educate everyone on these cool creatures.
