Flow

Maybe it’s just a matter of finding our flow and keeping it going. It should be obvious by now that water is our region’s future, and our continuing series, Our Water Webs, continues this week. Gordon Square gets in the flow with a day long celebration, complementing Parade The Circle across town. WOW kicks off, as does LEAF, offering a flowing supply of fresh food for the season, while Chef Jam rocks out. Mansfield plants his Vineyards of Chateau Hough grapes, and Roldo follows the money. Which for some reason, always seems to flow uphill. –Thomas Mulready

Gordon Square Arts District was born when $20 Million was spent to renovate the streetscape [pictured] and the Capitol Theatre. Cleveland Public Theatre got a facelift and Near West Theatre has plans for construction, making Gordon Square a destination for film and live theatre.

And this week, you can experience this arts district in a special way on Sat 6/12 from 10AM to 10PM in what is described as a “day-long celebration…”

4) Someone should write a book entitled “Politics for Dummies.” I was at a Memorial Day parade, and there was one political novice, riding in an open convertible, waving to the crowd like she was the Homecoming Queen. Meanwhile, one of her opponents for a seat on the County Council was walking the same route, shaking hands with folks and actually talking to potential voters. Who do you think is going to win this race…?
