While some of us prefer to spend the cold weather wrapped in a blanket on our couch with a good book, a warm cat and a cup of hot tea, you hardier souls who aren’t put off by brisk weather can head out to Cleveland Metroparks’ CanalWay Center for the Fight the Frost Festival.
There’ll be a bunch of winter walks led by naturalists, including an Eagle Walk, a Canal Walk and a Beaver Walk, snowshoeing, snow sculpting and a campfire for marshmallow roasting. There are also inside activities for the less cold-friendly members of the family, including carpet skating and block building. And there’s hot chocolate for all!
