Chagrin Falls’ Valley Art Center includes a gallery and shop. But it’s mostly become known during its 50 years of existence for its visual art classes and workshops for all ages and skills levels, and its student summer camps.
A lot of that actively has changed in the past four months. In-person summer camps for kids became activity kits with video tutorials. And it has debuted its online class formats which include pre-recorded tutorials, live virtual instruction and even hybrid courses that offer one onsite, in-person class per month.
Valley Arts Center’s fall session kicks off September 14 and will include both virtual classes and in-person classes and workshops. Classes will be limited to five students with a staggered schedule to allow social distancing and deep cleaning of the facility.
