If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in a theater to create what you see onstage, then you should see the next show in the Beck Center’s Lobby Gallery & Main Building Studio Theater Gallery.
Local photographer Jason Edleman has spent time at the Beck Center roaming its backstage areas, its costume and scene shops, its catwalks and even staff meetings, capturing those moments the average person never sees. It’s part of Beck’s 90th anniversary situation.
“Like the historic bridges of Cleveland, I see the Beck Center as a Bridge between past and future in the art scene,” says Edleman. “
The show opens with a free reception on Friday July 28 @ 6-7:30pm in the first floor of the main building. It will be on view through August 25. Photos in the show will be available for purchase.
