Thu 11/10 @ 8:45AM-3PM
World Usability Day is Thursday November 10, a day started “to bring together the community of usability professionals to focus on the goal of providing services and products that are more usable and easier to use.”
This year’s theme is “our health,” which will look at ways to make the health care system more user-friendly. It will address such aspects of health care delivery as teleheath, electronic health records, health care products, access to treatment and systems for mental health, exercise and nutrition. It will also explore how health problems are connected to environmental issues.
You can join the Cleveland discussion, hosted by UXibility, virtually. It kicks off at 8:45am with introductions, and then features five sessions on various topics, such as avoiding alert fatigue, time theft and how customer service can improve usability, before the wrap-up at 3pm.
Admission is free. Go here to register.
