The Akron Art Museum’s Second Friday includes the opportunity to chill and do a little meditating. The half-hour session at 6:30pm, led by Akron’s Yoga Squared Studio, takes place in the gallery currently showing the exhibit Afterimages, op-art style pieces based on repetition, patterns and mathematical principles, ideal for creating a zoned-out reflective state of mind.
Registration is required for the session, but not for the evening, which features pop-up tours of Afterimages, as well as two other current shows, More Is More and Continuum. Light food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is $12 for non-members.
