Prama Gallery Presents Work by Ecuadorian Artist

Fri 10/20 @ 6-10PM

Artist Rafael Valdivieso Troya is originally from an Ecuador but he’s lived in Cleveland for years. Locals have seen his mural work all around the city, at locations such as the Pivot Center for Art, Dance and Expression in Ohio City, and the tables and benches in Cleveland Heights’ Coventry Village. He’s also created papier-mache sculptures for Parade the Circle.

Now Prama Gallery in Parma will be presenting Dark Effect: Anthology of a Migratory Poem, a new body of work featuring paintings and papier-mache based on his experiences as an immigrant artist straddling two cultures.

The show opens with a free, public reception on Friday October 20.
