Connect with some of the creativity going on around the greater Akron area when the Akron Art Museum hosts its Creative Connection evening.
A whole host of arts organizations will have representatives there, including the Akron Black Artist Guild, the Akron Society of Artists, Artist of Rubber City, Cuyahoga Valley Arts Center, Hudson Society of Artists, Ohio Collage Society and the Women’s Art League. They’ll be offering gallery talks, live painting, an interactive literary activity, plein air painting in the garden, collage making, lectures and sketching. So there’ll be plenty to see, do and learn.
There’ll also be a food truck and a cash bar to keep you fueled through all this. And live music as well, with entertainment by DJ Vinnie G.
