Once again, it’s time to swing your partner at the Family Life Center in Chagrin Falls, at the monthly Bainbridge Swing Dance.
Don’t be shy and say I’ve never done this before” or “I don’t have a partner to dance with.” This event takes care of that. Every dance starts with a lesson, briefly you on all the basic steps. And it’s open to all ages, families, groups of friends, duos, singles, whatever. In this style of dancing, you’ll be changing partners all night long and meeting lots of new people.
And one of the best things about this series is that you’ll dance to live music by some of the best regional bands, knowing for their exciting, high-energy concerts as well as playing music ideal for dancing. This month’s band is Cleveland’s noted jazz/blues//R&B/rock ensemble Blue Lunch who’ve been playing all kinds of events in the region for more than four decades and released eight acclaimed albums showcasing the wide range of their entertainingly eclectic tunes, driven by layered harmonies and a dynamic horn section.
Pay by cash or check at the door. It’s $15 per person, $10 per child 12 and under, and $40 for a family from the same household.
