One of the first types of events slowly making their way back into the real world is maker markets and fleas. These summer events are usually held in outdoor spaces, some of which have room for social distancing. Last week saw the careful return of the Peninsula Flea, ad this weekend, the Youngstown Flea is back for its fifth season in downtown Youngstown next to the Covelli Center.
Shop the vendors offering handmade and reclaimed items, vintage clothing, collectibles and antique furniture and original art, as well as a farmers market with produce and more. There’ll be food trucks, free yoga and music as well. But they are taking precautions of the health and safety of visitors, which you can read more about at their website.
Admission is free, and there’s parking onsite. Future flea dates are July 11, August 15, September 12 and October 3.
