Seems like everyone’s jonesing for a Cinderella story these days. Recently, the North Coast Men’s Chorus did their own original version. And now, if anyone was disappointed that that one wasn’t the classic 1957 Rodgers & Hammerstein version, you can catch that one at Near West Theatre, which presents high-quality theater with casts that are diverse in age, race, ethnicity, background and stage experience.
This time you’ll get to hear all the beloved songs such as “Ten Minutes Ago,” “A Lovely Night,” “Do I Love you Because You’re Beautiful,” “In My Own Little Corner” and “Impossible.”
Tickets are pay what you can, with a $15 suggested donation. It runs Friday & Saturday this week and Friday-Sunday on two subsequent weekends through Sunday April 10.
