Cleveland’s small but ambitious “Little Theater That Could,” convergence-continuum, has scheduled a series of one-weekend-only shows called “the tweener series” between its regular-run production. This weekend, they’ll be doing a one-off production of Cleveland playwright Eric Coble’s My Barking Dog with Amanda Lin Boyd and Stuart Hoffman, directed by Sarah Greywitt.

The description of the play says, “Toby and Melinda live quiet, empty lives in their apartment building. When a starving coyote shows up on their fire escape one night, their worlds spiral magically, wildly out of control. Their story is filled with such startling surprises, you won’t know what hit you.”

In other words, a typical convergence-continuum play.

All proceeds from these performances will go to the company’s capital campaign to purchase the Limnis, the Tremont building where it performs. Tickets are $15, $12 for seniors and $10 for students.
