It’s a great week for wine and beer connoisseurs in greater Cleveland. Mid-July saw the back-to-back openings of a pair of eagerly awaited craft drinking spots.

Goldhorn Brewery at Hub 55 in the Superior-St. Clair neighborhood has been promising its opening since February, but now its brewed-in-house specialty beers are ready for consumption. It offers eight or more beers in its large tasting room and outdoor patio, with casual eats available from the kitchen it shares with Cafe 55 next door.

Up in Cleveland Heights, the Cle Urban Winery has opened its doors. The spot, with its industrial-chic decor, boasts an in-house wine production facility. In addition to serving its proprietary wines, with names referencing local landmarks, it offers small plates and acoustic entertainment.
