Wed 3/18 @ 8PM
Georgia blues rocker Tinsley Ellis comes out of a long tradition of southern boys turned on by the electric blues, filtered through their own Dixie sensibility. He launched his professional career fresh out of college in the early ’80s and since making his solo recording debut in 1988, he’s cranked out a new album reliably every couple of years and done what devoted blues singer/guitarists do: become a regular in blues clubs and festivals across the country.
With a new album called Tough Love, he’s out there again, showing off what he learned from the masters like Freddie King, Junior Wells and B.B. King who inspired him.
He’ll be performing at Wilbert’s. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
