Female Players Showcased @BanjoBabes Tour at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall

Banjo

Fri 3/6 @ 7PM

The Banjo Babes 2015 Calendar & Album is the second edition of an unusual project. It was created by California singer/songwriter/banjo player Erin Inglish to showcase woman banjo players from all over the country. THis year’s featured players include northeast Ohio’s Laurie Michelle Caner who fronts Akron-based Hey Mavis.

Caner will be among the women taking the stage of the G.A.R. Hall in Peninsula when the Banjo Babes tour arrives in northeast Ohio. She’ll be joined by Inglish as well as by Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee who comprise the duo The Lowest Pair.

The Lowest Pair will be celebrating the release of a new album The Sacred Heart Sessions (Hey Mavis has an album in the pipeline too, scheduled to drop in March). Come pick up a copy of that, as well as the Banjo Babes Calendar & Album, and hear a stage full of sizzling five-string players.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
