For Canton’s Pro Football Hall of Fame, its enshrinement aka induction is a major community event that attracts visitors from all over the globe — a sizable chunk of people who visit all year. That’s because they make it really special, with multiple public events, special parties and the enshrinement taking place at an exhibition game (This year, the Vikings will take on the Steelers).
They’ve added something new this year to make it an even bigger draw: the inaugural Pro Football Hall of Fame Concert for Legends to be headlined by Aerosmith, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. (Their induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame seems like a long shot).
“Aerosmith performing in the inaugural Concert for Legends will add even more excitement and energy to an Enshrinement Weekend that kicks off the NFL’s 96th season since its birth in Canton, and the launch to Super Bowl 50,” said Hall of Fame President David Baker.
Tickets for the show, taking place at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, have just gone on sale and are available at Ticketmaster. They range from $35-$225.
