Cleveland Classical Guitar Society Presents Its Annual Free Showcase Concert Virtually

Sat 9/12 @ 8PM

The Cleveland Classical Guitar Society always kicks off its International Series season with its Showcase Concert, offering a taste of both rising and experienced local classical guitarists.

And so they are doing this year, although the concert, like the rest of its 2020 events, is only online. And they’ve hooked up with Maltz Performing Arts Center’s Silver Hall concert series to present it.

It will feature the guitar duo of Andy Poxon and Adam Satorius, both CCGS teachers; Cleveland-based international performer Robert Gruca, who started the Suzuki Guitar program at the Music Settlement; Colin Davin, co-head of the Cleveland Institute of Music’s guitar program who will perform with Cleveland Orchestra violinist Katherine Bormann; and CCGS student Damian Goggans. They’ll also honor Kadirah McJunkins, a CCGS teaching asssitant and CCGS Student of the Year.

The event is, as always free, but you must register to get the link. Go here.
