The Akron Pride Festival leads up to the big event on Saturday August 24, with Stadium Virginium: PRIDE!, a drag showcase taking place at the Akron Civic Theatre’s Knight Stage. It’s hosted by Columbus’ Virginia West and features the West Family performers, as well as some of northeast Ohio’s outstanding drag entertainers. They include Akron Pride Festival’s 2024 Drag Artist of the Year Kardi Redd Diamond; APF’s 2024 Drag Artist of the Year alternate Zoey Zegai; Miss APF 2019 Cherry Veneer; Mr. Ohio King All-Star Jace Blaze; and Miss Innerbelt Nightclub Samantha Styles.
