Have a Close Encounter with Two Outstanding Classic Musicians

Sun 4/14 @ 3PM

Heights Arts’ Close Encounters concerts give classical music lovers the opportunity to enjoy music by some of the area’s best musicians in an intimate setting. They’re curated by Cleveland Orchestra cellist Dane Johansen who often brings his colleagues on board.

And this month he’s doing a little moonlighting himself. He and Cleveland Institute of Music collaborative pianist Dan Overly will perform Frédéric Chopin’s Sonata in G minor for Cello and Piano (Op. 65) and Sergei Rachmaninov’s Sonata in G minor for Cello and Piano, Op. 19.

The location is a Shaker Heights Villa whose exact location will be revealed after you buy your ticket. Go here to get them.
